landscape Designer | Project manager
GDSI is seeking a highly motivated Landscape Designer/Landscape Architect/Project Manager to join our Design/Build firm.
Job Description• Prepare planning and site design that demonstrates strong sustainable design and graphic production skills, including hand drawing and rendering.• Demonstrate a full range of project knowledge from conceptual design through construction administration. • Perform site analysis, including surveys of existing conditions and field measurements.• Conceptualize across a broad range of scales and project types.• Demonstrate the ability to think critically and contribute creatively to the design process. • Produce professional, high-quality construction documentation. • Prepare contract documents, including details, sections, elevations, and schedules.• Collaborate with and assist GDSI staff in the completion of projects.• Utilize design application software to develop and present design concepts effectively.• Demonstrate a detail-oriented, efficient, collaborative work ethic, being adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities.• Share in GDSI’s commitment to design and installation excellence, ensuring that projects are completed according to GDSI’s standards.
Compensation• Annual Base Salary: Dependent on experience, certifications, portfolio, and references.• Yearly Bonus.• Medical, dental, vision, 401K.• Competitive paid time off.• Continuing Education Benefits.• Company vehicle provided.

Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.• 0+ years of experience.• Strong proficiency with CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.• Exceptional hand-graphics and rendering skills.• Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to communicate ideas graphically and verbally.• Experience in all phases of project management.• Effective interpersonal communication skills (verbal, listening, and written).• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn.• A collaborative and professional work ethic.• Professional licensure is not required.
