Paul Fontenot

Paul Fontenot, a seasoned landscape architect with over 34 years of dedicated experience in the field, demonstrates his expertise and passion for landscape design, creating vibrant and sustainable outdoor spaces that enhance both functionality and aesthetics.Paul began his academic journey at Louisiana Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Ornamental Horticulture in 1989. His education laid a strong foundation in plant sciences and horticultural practices, which he further built upon at Louisiana State University, where he obtained his Master of Landscape Architecture in 1991. This combination of horticultural knowledge and landscape design skills allows Paul to create innovative designs that harmonize with the natural environment.In addition to his professional practice, Paul is actively involved in the local community. He has served as chair of the Fairhope Tree Committee for 25+ years.  He also is a member of the Fairhope Planning Commission.
